FILIPPO ARTINI graduated from the University of Florence, Italy, in2002 with a degree in Oenology and Viticulture and a final
thesis regarding the agronomical and enological attitude of traditional tuscan grape varieties. He then worked as a technician in
some of the most important winemaking zones in the world (Dominio del Plata in Argentina, Amador Foothill Winery in California,
Frankland Estate in Australia), where he specialized in the enological-viticultural management of small to medium sized cellars.
In 2006, after a significant professional experience as oenologist at the Fanti-Tenuta San Filippo of Montalcino, where he increased his
skills (particularly from the commercial aspect), he decided to begin consulting, with the creation of “Le Uve”, in order to fully take advantage of his
experience and ideas accumulated over the years.
DARIO PARENTI was born in Florence, where he obtained a degree in enology and viticulture with a thesis on the dynamics of the
exportation of Chianti Classico on the US market.
During his studies, Dario had taken advantage of his knowledge of the French and English languages, and had the opportunity to meet and work
with colleagues all over the world (Villa Maria in New Zealand, Domaine de Saint Benezeth and Cave cooperative de Cazaubon in France), thus improving
his winemaking techniques. He subsequently gained experience as a winemaker in Tuscany, at the Ruffino winery and in California, at Gallo of Sonoma
(the higher end production of E&J Gallo). In 2006, he began collaborating with his colleague and friend, Filippo Artini, with whom he began the consulting partnership “Le Uve”.
